Events and Links

- Mustang Parking image They did not indicate a row # but you can see it is just south
of the Homebuilders Headquarters and in front of the Homeland Security / "Federal Pavilion" building.
- Homebuilders Hangar presentation:   Tuesday July 26th 1000
To be given by Carlo Cilliers about his beautiful Mustang II which will be parked there.
He will be covering the changes he has made to it, performance results, and techniques that he used
in construction. Bring lots of questions as this is an informal Q & A presentation.
Also present to answer questions will be Paul Cox, Larry Kinder, Chris Tieman, and hopefully Bob Bushby.
- Group photo of Mustang IIs: planned for Wednesday morning 0745
Wednesday is doughnut and coffee morning at Homebuilders headquarters.
Get a doughnut and coffee and then get your picture taken! In the 70's they had a nice group shot.
Not sure how easy it will be to move the airplanes but would like to see if we can do something similar.
Charlie Becker from EAA is thinking about selecting one airplane and then getting everyone to group around it.
That is what they are doing for the RVs. I would like to try and get a bunch of airplanes in a semi circle.
We should have our own row(s) so it might be possible.
- Mustang Aeronautics Forum:   Wednesday July 27th 2:30pm by Chris Tieman in the Homebuilders Hangar
- Mustang Dinner:   Wednesday July 27th 6:30pm AT A NEW LOCATION: THE ROXY in downtown Oshkosh.
Bob Bushby should be there. He is 89 years old and still doing well physically.
Rides will be available if you sign up with Chris Tieman at the show. I have been told they have very good food.
Here is the menu. It is pay by individual check.
- Homebuilders Dinner: Thursday July 28th 6pm at the Nature Center, Bob Bushby will say a few words.
- Shirts: We probably didn't order enough shirts and with all of the emails we have received there are only a
couple of Mediums left. Make sure you let me know if you want a 50th Anniversary T-shirt at Oshkosh.
Send an email to orders@mustangaero.com with quantity and sizes.
If we run out we will order more but will not have them at the show.

From Chris Tieman:
We have coordinated parking for AirVenture 2016.
The following link will take you to the EAA website to let them know you are planning on attending.
They will then reserve the appropriate number of spots for us
so it is important to register if you think you will be attending.

If you are flying a Mustang in, please do TWO things:
1) Register with the EAA via the link above, and
2) If you'd like your name added to the list on this page, please email:
Rick@ExperimentalAirplane.com with the information listed in the table above
(Name, Home state or province, type of Mustang, N# or registration, when you plan to attend, total airframe hours, year it first flew)
If you are a Mustang Builder or owner and plan on attending (but not flying a Mustang in), you can:
email me with your name and I will add you to the "Attending" list.
Thanks! from Rick Henry
